Having moved to the Akron/Portage Lakes area a little less than a year ago, I've been searching for a great scissor cut for my very short hair. Having tried several other places in the area, I finally found the best place...Creative Designers. Allison asked questions and listened to my concerns and gave me the best precision haircut. I'm so happy with the results, Allison is the best! Thanks so much for making my day. I booked my next appointment too!

Highly recommend coming here. My hair was so damaged from the last place I went and now they have me using take home products that leave my hair so shiny and smooth.

My mom started coming here a few years ago and she recommended I try it. I have never been disappointed. Wonderful people, clean salon & huge selection of products! Madi always cuts my hair and does a fantastic job, highly recommended! 5 stars for sure!

My review update is STILL 5 stars. These ladies have gotten me from blonde to black and every color in between over the years. Their professionalism is unparalleled and the shop itself is the coziest salon of any kind I've ever stepped foot in! It is truly a high end salon at affordable prices, and they are always expanding their services. You can always tell when someone has been styled by these ladies. Best, brightest, and boldest color in town- and each of the stylists is a true visionary!

I have never had a bad experience here. The atmosphere is inviting & relaxing with the different decor depending on the time of year it is. I like the fact that the hairdressers will ask opinions of others or the owner if need. Brittany normally does my hair and she is wonderful. Carol did my hair this time and she is just as wonderful. My first time here today, I called and Brittney got me in immediately...I needed my eyebrows waxed....as soon as I walk in it's BEAUTIFUL, VERY CLEAN, colorful and full of product which is amazing. The front desk was very kind. Brittney did my eyebrows (amazingly I might add while I was holding a toddler) she was very helpful on showing me what to and what not to do as far as plucking....which I won't touch them anymore...I will leave that up to her, hers looked amazing btw. She then showed me how to fill them in a different way then I have been which I really appreciated. She is very knowledgeable and very talented. I look forward to going back! Thank you!

Creative Designers did the hair and makeup for my entire bridal party this past August and did a phenomenal job! Everyone was so accommodating and made us feel welcome and comfortable. The little breakfast set up was nice too! It was so fun that all of us could be together while getting ready. Jackie, the owner, also checked on us throughout our time at the salon and made sure everyone left happy. All of our hair and makeup looked beautiful and lasted the entire night! Allison and Janel worked with me and truly made me feel beautiful on my special day! I highly recommend Creative Designers! :)

All the staff at Creative Designers has always treated me very well. Courtney has been doing my hair for many years. She even came in while she was on maternity leave just to do my hair for my wedding. On my wedding day, they made me feel
special. Allison did my moms hair and she looked so beautiful! I know my mom and whole bridal party felt special too! There was even bagels and coffee waiting for us! They also have the best Chai tea!!! Thank you to creative designers for always taking good care of me!!

Creative Designers is the only place I will go to get my hair done. Janel has been doing my hair for almost 7 years now. She has done everything from making my hair completely blonde to adding multiple, fun colors to my hair. Beyond her talent at styling and coloring, she is phenomenal at make-up and extensions as well. She is always so accommodating to all my requests and up for any challenge. You will not be disappointed in paying her a visit!

On September 10th, I got married! My whole bridal party including grandmas and mothers and flower girls-- came to get our hair done. We had women of multiple races = multiple hair textures and one with a pixie cut! The girls were fantastic and accommodating. I wanted a big "sculpted" updo and they were excited about the challenge. Midge executed my hair perfectly!

They squeezed in extra hair and makeup when girls' changed their minds. My makeup looked amazing! Janel was fantastic and asked questions to make sure I liked what she was doing. All of my girls looked like polished versions of themselves. I was really concerned that the makeup would be overdone or that girls with different complexions would all receive the same treatment. This was not the case! Also, I felt everything was very reasonably priced.

They allowed us to use their kitchen area for breakfast snacks and mimoas. We really just had so much fun! Perhaps as important as anything else, everyone seemed genuinely excited and made me feel beautiful-- which on such a stressful day is really important!

Love this place & the people. Everyone is super friendly & helpful. Love the chai tea they bring me while under the dryer. If you need color this is the place to come..they know their stuff. I see Maddie, (tell her kelli sent ya if you get an appointment),but it's family run & they're all good at what they do. Pretty booked up usually so plan ahead.

Here in Fairlawn, Ohio for the first time. So relied on reviews and decided to try out Creative Designers. I am glad I went! I was scheduled with Allison. She did not disappoint! She is very friendly and knowledgeable. She helped me pick out hair color and she gave me great input on how to keep up hairstyle with products. I was very happy with my hair...looks awesome!! I only wish I didn't live 3 hours away. However, if travels bring me back here I will definitely go back to Creative Designers. Everyone there was very friendly and they go out of there way to make you comfortable. Plus, there complimentary coffee is delicious! Recommend if you are in the area to go try them out!!

honestly the best place I've ever gone. I got my UPDO here like 5 minutes ago and I got Allison which might be the nicest person I have ever met. So easy to open up!! Also the BEST UPDO I've ever seen. She got it done in an hour and had me laughing and talking the whole time. I'm beyond happy with my experience. You won't be disappointed in this amazing salon. She made me walk out of there feeling like a woman in today's world and with NO FLAWS to my cut. That in itself is rare because I have a certain area that curls just slightly to my straight hair that almaost every stylist has missed on the most simple straight cuts, let alone a styled one! I am very happy and making my next app right now and will continue going to this girl as long as she's there. Very nice people overall.

I absolutely love this salon! I've started here about 5 years ago, have tried other, closer to home salons, but always come back. I'm very particular about my hair. I bring in a picture & I always leave with the look or color requested. I've only ever had Midge, but  sure they're all wonderful. They're prices are great as well. No complaints, ever!

I had been driving by this place on my way home every day and decided on a whim to call to get my hair and nails done.  I have to say, I am supppperrr impressed.  My stylist made my hair look awesome and my nails are so pretty. The prices are also really great too, and I got an appointment the day I called.  I couldn't be more happy that I called up.

As a guy it's hard to find a good barber or stylist you can depend on to make you look good. I have found that Janelle is my go to girl! She has always given me great hair cuts and is willing to work around my complicated always changing schedule without giving me attitude. The salon is always clean and well kept also. I love my hair color! I went into the salon with typical highlights and left with amazing black color. I gave the girl no limitations and the response was wow! that is what I needed. I feel like I just kept getting the same look at my old salon.

I have been coming here for almost 15 years. Being only 27, I'd say that's impressive. Now that I don't live in the area, I still drive from Pittsburgh to have these ladies color my hair. No one does it better. They are all fantastic. I've had my hair done by Midge, Allison, Courtney, Bootsie, and Madison, and I've never left disappointed. Prices are fair as well. It's actually cheaper for me to drive all the way here and pay their prices than it is for me to go down the street and have my hair done in Pittsburgh. I highly recommend them for men or women, and all ages.
